Yesterday’s Finds
is a project of Oasis, designed to help individuals who had or have different barriers to employment.
The project provides the necessary tools for these individuals to reintegrate back into society through viable employment.
Yesterday’s Finds purpose is to create business activities and projects that will employ individuals who are willing to learn new skills but have barriers to full-time employment. The proceeds of the projects and activities will be used to pay the operational costs and any excess will be retained to facilitate the growth of the project as well as supporting the programs of its sponsor, Oasis Addiction RecoverySociety..

Yesterday’s Finds provides hands on retail training to individual with disabilities, helping them learn many aspects of the retail business and giving them back their dignity.
They gain current job experience that meets today’s job market standards and build communication skills while working with other employees and the public.
The articles for sale at Yesterday’s Finds are either slightly used and in great condition or brand new.
Each item is carefully checked by our staff to ensure only items of good quality are sold in the store.
Articles include furniture, small appliances, housewares, CDs, DVDs and video tapes, electronics, costume jewellery, pictures/frames, books, collectibles and many more household items.

The proceeds from the sale of goods are used to pay the operational costs of the store, including wages. Any excess is retained to facilitate the growth of the project as well as supporting the programs of Oasis.
Yesterday’s Finds gives an opportunity to talented individuals who can create their own arts and crafts.
We offer space for them to display their products to the general public, thereby increasing their income and giving them the chance to promote their projects.
